Every secondhand garment is one of a kind, so every listing starts from scratch. Someone has to identify it, size it, price it, photograph it, write it up and post it. Multiply that across a backroom and good inventory sits unlisted. StyleOrigin is built only for secondhand apparel. It runs on a resale taxonomy we built by hand, and it gets sharper with every item it processes.
Founder Kim Vu grew up wearing secondhand clothes from church donation bags. After 20+ years scaling organizations, including leading ESG at Remitly through its IPO, she started her own vintage resale business and hit the listing wall herself. So she taught herself to code and built the fix. Today, 9 shops are piloting StyleOrigin and 70+ are on the waitlist.
